In May of 2023, Ike Turner, Jr., adopted son of Tina Turner, was stopped for a nonworking headlight.

Turner had followed his parents into the music business.

Turner won a Grammy for producing Ike Turner, Senior’s “Rising with the Blues” album in 2006.

Police use such defective equipment stops as a method to look for contraband and impaired drivers.

Apparently, as police approached, Turner attempted to eat some narcotics he possessed in the car.

Police managed to seize two grams of crack and one gram of another prohibited substance.

Unfortunately, Turner had been disaffected from Tina Turner for years.

Turner’s father, Ike Turner, Sr. died of a drug overdose.

A good friend of Chicago Rapper G. Herbo was shot and killed in a South Loop Barbershop in January, 2021.

Gregory Jackson, III aka Lil Greg was shot at the Studio Nineteen barbershop.

Jackson had been in Cook County Court earlier that day in a marijuana possession charge.

Jackson had been charged with a felony which was reduced to a misdemeanor with time served.

A close associate of the popular yet embattled Chicago rapper G Herbo was killed in a brazen daytime shooting in a South Loop barbershop last week.

Police noted that Jackson was a member of the South Shore gang No Limit Muskegon Boys.

G. Herbo has claimed being associated with a Chicago gang.

Jackson was mourned on social media by many including 21 Savage, an Atlanta rapper.

G. Herbo is facing charges in federal court in Massachusetts for using stolen credit card information.

Black’s birthname was Dieuson Octave.

Black was born in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Black is an American rapper who has a long history with the criminal justice system.

In 2020, Black entered a guilty plea to a firearms charge picked up at the U.S. Canadian border.

Black, as of the date of this post, is serving a federal sentence for lying on a federal paperwork.

In October, 2020 Black was transferred from the federal penitentiary at Big Sandy to Thompson, a federal prison in Illinois.

Both were high security facilities.

Black had filed suit to better his living conditions at Big Sandy.

The Feds indicated that the transfer was planned before the suit was filed, not in response to the suit.
