Rapper Offset is back in the news in October, 2020 right before the election.
This time he was detained by police on suspicion of waiving firearms from a motor vehicle.
Offset, his wife Cardi B and Cardi’s cousin Marcelo Almanzar were motoring near a Beverly Hills, California MAGA rally.
Due to citizen complaints, the three were detained by police investigating witness statements Offset and Almanzar were pointing handguns at rally attendees.
Offset was released.
The cousin was arrested for possessing a loaded firearm and brandishing and released on bail.
Cardi B is a democratic support.
Offset and Cardi B have had an on again off again relationship.
